September 22, 2018

Today, during the Ace Attorney stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2018, Capcom announced Ace Attorney 123, Phoenix Collection.

Ace Attorney producer Motohide Eshiro took the stage to make the announcement and give more details. The game contains Phoenix Wright 1,2 and 3 in both Japanese and English. For a better play experience, the games’ options have been reworked, letting you choose the music and sound effects’ volume, the transparency of dialogue windows or how text skip works. You will be able to make 10 different saves for each game and each language. They completely remade the game’s User Interface and artwork as well, allowing many new details to be noticed.

Many fans including myself were expecting something like an Ace Attorney 7, but this is great news as well, especially for those who never played the original trilogy, as all three games are masterpieces.

An orchestral concert for the series was also announced, it will take place on March 30th 2019.

Ace Attorney 123 Phoenix Collection will release in early 2019 for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch. A limited edition with an arranged soundtrack and a package illustration by series’ character designer Tatsuro Iwamoto will be detailed later.

Update: Capcom announced the game is coming west in early 2019 for the same platforms and will be titled Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. An English version of the trailer was published as well.
