Today Bandai Namco Entertainment released new gameplay of the upcoming Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

The mission is the same mission 6 of the campaign titled "Long Day" that I played and recorded at Gamescom 2018 in Cologne, but there are relevant differences. First of all, I played the game on PS4, and this appears to be either an Xbox One or a PC build, looking at the controller prompts.

Secondly, this appears to be a full build of the game, including all of the announced aircraft. In fact, the player flies an F/A-18F, which was not included at all in the demo.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more, you can also check out the latest story trailer that also revealed the release date, and a previous trailer also focusing on the story.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown will launch on January 18th for PS4 and Xbox One, while PC gamers will have to wait a little longer to February 1st for the release via Steam. Incidentally, the game won the highest honor among our Gamescom 2018 Awards.

You can already pre-order the game on Amazon.
