Today Bandai Namco Entertainment Japan released a lot of information and images of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

First of all, we get info and artwork on a few primary characters.

Rosa Cosette D'Elise is the princess of Erusea. While hers was a family of commoners, her father became the king after the restoration caused by the Continental War.

Mihaly A. Shilage is a legendary ace pilot who killed countless enemies over many battlefields. He is the top test pilot of Erusea's experimental unit, and pilots a Su-30SM

Dr. Schroeder is an engineer working for the EASA (Erusean Air and Space Administration) at its research base. He is involved in the development of weapons for the Erusean army, and has the typical analytical personality of a scientist.

Avril Mead is an engineer at the Osean penal base. She has an individualist personality, and she is nicknamed "Scrap Queen" for her ability in repairing aircrafts.

We also get to see the personal insignia of the player, nicknamed Trigger, and his "three strikes." Within the Spare penal unit, the number of strikes on the tail determines the gravity of one's crimes. Three strikes is means an extremely heinous crime.

Then we get something that will make aviation buffs like yours truly all giddy, in the form of the squadron insignia of many of the units that will appear in thee game. Spare's emblem is, of course, very simple, as you'd expect from a penal squadron home to criminals used as cannon fodder.

A look at more playable aircraft includes the F-16C Fighting Falcon, the F-14D Super Tomcat, the F-15E Strike Eagle, the F-15C Eagle, the F-104C Starfighter, the Su-33 Flanker-D, the MiG-29A Fulcrum, the YF-23 Black Widow II, the Gripen E, the Su-57, the MiG-21bis Fishbed, the Rafale M, and the F/A-18F Super Hornet.
