New Ace Combat 7 Trailer Finally Reveals the Story; it's Full of Fighter Jet Porn
A new trailer of Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, focuses on the story and beautiful aircraft porn.
Today Bandai Namco released a brand new trailer of its upcoming game Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, eight months after the last we saw back in 2017.
Like the other main trailers, this one focuses on the story and gives us a chance to enjoy the progress made by the development team in just under a year.
We learn that the protagonist is a member of a penal unit following an unknown incident. His unit is expendable, and he will move from the very bottom to becoming a hero as the story progresses.
Interestingly, the unit markings on the aircraft’s tail are crossed over by paint called “sin lines.” The more there are, the more heinous the crime committed by the pilot is. Protagonist “Trigger” has three, which means that his crime is definitely serious.
We also get to see more planes (starting with the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, the Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, and the Dassault Rafale M), more weather effects, and more dogfighting. Did I say that it looks fantastic?
One last little detail is quite weird. The dialogue in the North American and European versions of the trailer is different. The language is definitely harsher in the European version at the beginning of the trailer, then it becomes harsher in the American version in the second part (the Japanese version has the same dialogue as the European one). The reason for this is unknown.
The one thing that is missing is a release date, but Producer Kazutoki Kono recently mentioned that it’ll be announced soon. At the end of the version of the trailer DualShockers saw at E3, we also saw a tease for the presence of the game at Gamescom. If I was a betting man, I’d expect a release date to be announced there.
You can enjoy the trailer below in both the American and European versions. If you want to see more, you can also check out the latest screenshots showing weather effects and advanced maneuvers.
Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is scheduled to be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The last release window we hear was 2018, but the trailer does not showcase it, so we’ll have to wait and see.
