The marketing partnership between Activision and Sony Interactive Entertainment on Call of Duty appears to be as strong as ever. During the global keynote of the Call of Duty XP 2016 event, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg gave a shout-out to the house of PlayStation.

Pulling off an event like this for our fans takes a lot of hard work, from both our team at Activision and also a few key partners, and I want to give a special shout-out to one, our friends at Sony PlayStation.

They’re not only co-sponsoring the Call of Duty World League and Sunday’s championship, but they have also provided the hundreds of PS4s on which you’ll be playing Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered and Black Ops III DLC in just a matter of minutes.

They’re great partners, so let’s hear it for PlayStation

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare launches for PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 4th.
