Just a few minutes ago, a post appeared in the Spyro the Dragon Twitter Account (that has been named "Falcon McBob" for a while). The tweet is simply an image of Crash Bandicoot's big face with the "Good Times" wording, but there is something more that can be seen in Crash's eyes.

If you look at the full resolution version, you'll notice two images of Spyro himself. They're small, but definitely recognizable with the purple dragon sitting on his hind legs and looking up on the left, and swooping down while breathing fire on the right.

If this isn't a tease of a Spyro-related announcement coming down the line, I don't know what it could be, especially considering the rumors that have been floating around, and the fact that Activision itself teased more remasters of its IPs coming this year following the success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

For the moment, we should, of course, take this with the customary grain of salt until an official announcement is made, but I would say it's quite likely, considering what we have seen.

If you're unfamiliar with the Spyro the Dragon series, it debuted in 1998 on the original PlayStation, developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment itself. Of course, if you want to dip into PlayStation classics, you can grab Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy for PS4 (or pre-order it for Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox One) at Amazon.
