Actress Nina Bergman Says She Will Be in Universal Pictures’ Next Doom Movie
NBC/Universal spokesperson says the new Doom movie will be done by Universal 1440 Entertainment who is known for producing non-theatrical films.
It looks like Doom is getting a second chance on the big screen… sort of. Actress Nina Bergman took to Twitter to announce that she will be in the next movie base on the demon-filled franchise.
“Wow, I’m doing the next Doom movie with Universal Pictures! I just signed all the paperwork,” she wrote. She continues by saying that she will “get to go back to Bulgaria again” and that the movie will have a “super cool director.” Here is the full tweet:

Additionally, according to an NBC/Universal spokesperson that spoke to Variety, the new flick will be done by Universal 1440 Entertainment, a company known for making non-theatrical films. Although it is not confirmed, it is possible that this could be a movie that goes straight to DVD or digital marketplaces.
Doom is a first-person shooter franchise developed by id Software known for its hellish setting and fast-paced gameplay. The first game, simply called Doom, is considered to have helped revolutionize the FPS genre back when it launched in 1993.
