Now we already know that there is no “lead console” for Grand Theft Auto V, its being developed on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 simultaneously, or so Rockstar says. They’ve been quiet about a PC version so far, but seeing that past versions of the series have made their way to the PC eventually, this isn’t too far fetched. From Grand Theft Auto: Vice City all the way up to Grand Theft Auto IV, just about every one of the hits has made it over about six months after it’s console launch.
The add gives hope though that we could see a PC version much closer to the console launch this time. While PC and console markets are very different, and converting a game isn’t the easiest of tasks, there is a large market for Grand Theft Auto on the PC, and Rockstar will no doubt want to tap into it as soon as possible. I for one will be hoping that this means we see a quick PC release, but hey, it could just be a misprint.
