Add Super Meat Boy to the List of Million-Sellers

Team Meat announced yesterday that Super Meat Boy, its quirky 2D platformer just passed the 1 million mark in sales. The title was released for the Xbox LIVE Arcade in November 2010 before seeing iterations on the PlayStation Network, Mac and Linux. The official tweet from Team Meat said the milestone was reached last month, so I’m wondering if it happened before the game’s inclusion in the Humble Indie Bundle, which sold 435,000.

Either way, this kind of success is pretty impressive considering the game was coded by two people. The game is currently available on XBLA, PSN, Steam and brick-and-mortar retailers like Best Buy.
