When thinking of games to play, many wouldn’t immediately think that a mobile title that mixes Pokemon with Rick and Morty would be something that might jump out at someone, yet Adult Swim Games has made that dream a reality with the early release of its new mobile title, Pocket Mortys.

Adult Swim Games announced the release of its new mobile title Pocket Mortys, which brings together the bizarre humor of its popular animated series Rick and Morty in a Pokemon-inspired mobile RPG, which released today on iOS and Android – one day ahead of its originally-planned release for January 14th, 2016.

Like its Pokemon inspiration, players will be able to collect over 70 different variations of Morty – such as Mustache Morty, Wizard Morty, and more – to collect and battle them against other Mortys, with a full description of the title available from Adult Swim Games:

  • Discover dozens and dozens of bizarre Mortys across the multiverse of Rick and Morty
  • Train and combine your Mortys to level them up and watch them grow
  • Battle rival Ricks from across the multiverse
  • Encounter your favorite characters like Bird Person, Mr. Meeseeks and more
  • Craft items and engage in tedious side quests
  • Win prizes at the space arcade Blips and Chitz

Pocket Mortys is available now on iOS and Android, with the title being free-to-play and supported by in-game microtransactions.
