Solid9 Studio and Fat Dog Games set out to make a game that was inspired by classic strategy games like Advance WarsAncient Empires, and X-COM. What it created was a game that borrowed pieces from each of these games but brought them to the fantasy genre: Exorder.

In Exorder, you begin by playing the game's twelve-mission campaign, which tells the story of a conflict brewing between three nations. The singleplayer has been designed to better acquaint you with the game's basics and provide you with the skills needed to properly manage a full roster of over 10 characters. Of course, multiplayer is where the game really comes to life.

After choosing either a Ranked or Casual mode of play, you will embark on your journey to climb the global leaderboards through two-player skirmishes. If you choose to play the game casually, you can even play in a local competitive setting.

Exorder is expected to release for PC sometime in Q1 of 2018. For more information on the game, you can visit the Fat Dog Games website or check out the game's Steam page. You can also find the game's newest trailer in the video provided below.
