Daedalic Entertainment announced via press release that the hit adventure game series Deponia has a departure date for the PS4. The first chapter of the trilogy will release in digital form on November 15th while a 'few select countries' (most likely European ones as the dev is German) will receive a boxed version.

In the game you're tasked with getting off the planet Deponia so you can return a fallen girl to the Elysium, a high-class spaceship in orbit. But our hero is more of an antihero, and the scheming Rufus sees this return mission as a way to get off the literal dump heap he calls home. Complicating the fact is that Goal, the woman from above, just so happens to look like Rufus' ex-fiancé.

The console port brings certain new features such as 'completely reworked controls with optimum use of the PlayStation 4 controller's functions.' The game is also coming to Xbox One but with a 'soon' moniker. And don't worry about getting to play through the entire series without a PC as the entire trilogy will be coming to the two home systems within a year.

It's always nice to see adventure games making their way to consoles and it won't be long until we can enjoy these hand-craft graphics in HD.
