We learned last year that that U&I Entertainment, Outright Games, and Cartoon Network had come to an agreements to release new video games based on the popular Ben 10 and Adventure Time properties. They then went on to release Ben 10 in November before unveiling Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion in December.

While we hadn't heard much about the title since, Outright Games released the first gameplay trailer for Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion today. They also revealed that the game will be releasing on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 17 before being available worldwide on July 20.

For those of you who don't know, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion follows Finn, Jake, BMO, and Marceline as they journey through the Land of Ooo, which has mysteriously been flooded. When it comes to gameplay, Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion plays out like a mix of The Legend of Zelda and turn-based RPGs. We only get a brief glimpse of combat in this trailer, but they will likely go into more detail about it before launch.

You can check out the game's first trailer below. Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion is poised to release on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on July 17 in North America. If you want to pre-order this game, you can currently do so on Amazon.
