The Season of Legends promises a host of raid boss changes throughout the next couple of months. At the start of March, Incarnate Forme Landorus joined raids, alongside a new wave of one-star and three-star raid bosses. Now, as of March 6 (at 8 am local time), the raid boss lineup has been rotated. Incarnate Forme Landorus has left the battle and has been replaced by Incarnate Forme Tornadus and we also have some new one and three-star bosses, one of which is Aggron. With that in mind, let's see if Aggron has any Weakness in Pokemon GO and look at the best counters to take it down.

Aggron Weakness Pokemon GO

Aggron is a combination of Rock and Steel-type. This means it has some brutal weaknesses to take advantage of. The two you want to make the most use of is its 4x weakness to both Fighting and Ground-type moves, although Aggron does have a 2x weakness to Water moves too.

Best Counters For Aggron

There are a few top counters to Aggron in the game, let's take a look at them.

Realistically, there are no mega Pokemon worth considering for Aggron raids.

One of the two main types of Pokemon you want to be considering for Aggron raids is Fighting as there is tonnes of choice and it exploits that 4x weakness. Lucario is probably the best performer in this area, closely followed by Conkeldurr. Machamp and Breloom are also both great counters and you should have plenty of candies for the pair of them.

Alongside the Fighting-types, trainers should definitely consider some Ground-type Pokemon. The trio of Excadrill, Groudon and Garchomp are your best picks here. Landorus is another strong counter for those who have been raiding it recently.

Lucario - Counter/Aura Sphere

Conkeldurr - Counter/Dynamic Punch

Machamp - Counter/Dynamic Punch

Breloom - Counter/Dynamic Punch

Excadrill - Mud-Slap/Earthquake

Garchomp - Mud Shot/Earthquake

Groudon - Mud Shot/Earthquake

Landorus - Mud Shot/Earth Power

Bringing a powered up combination of the above Pokemon should allow trainers to solo the raid.
