After a ton of development time, next week, Agony will be released for all platforms. That being said, it doesn't seem like Madmind Studio is done revealing information about the game, as today, the developer revealed and detailed a brand new mode in the game which shares its name with the game itself, Agony Mode.

Separate from the main story, Agony Mode shifts from a first-person action adventure to more of a Roguelike genre. Players will be tasked with exploring a randomly-generated world in order to complete different quests. Of course, since this is roguelike players will only have one life, so if they die, they'll have to restart the whole thing.

To celebrate the announcement of the new mode, the developer also released a brand new trailer, which shows off gameplay. You can, as always, check out the trailer at the end of the article.

Agony is set to be released on May 29, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, the latter of which will be completely uncensored.
