The Phenomenal One, A.J. Styles, is widely considered one of the best wrestlers in the industry. He has won multiple championship around the globe including the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, WWE World Heavyweight Championship, and most recently the WWE United States Championship. After garnering such accolades, you would assume his in-game character rating in WWE 2K18 would be at least a 95, right? Well it turns out his rating is an 89, and he is not too thrilled about it.

Interviewer Erika Garcia had the chance to speak with the popular WWE Superstar at a pre-SummerSlam WWE 2K18 event where he talks about his in-game rating, and his love for retro gaming. You can watch the video below!

At the event, it was confirmed that A.J. Styles would be one of many playable characters on 2K Games' latest addition of the wrestling game, WWE 2K18. The first 47 characters were announced last week which included WWE Superstars from various eras. Now we can add the champ that runs the camp to the growing list of superstars appearing in WWE 2K18.

A.J. Styles is currently the WWE's United States Champion after he retained the belt against Kevin Owens at SummerSlam. He originally won the belt against Owens on July 7 at a WWE live event at Madison Square Garden only to lose it a few weeks later on the WWE pay-per-view, Battleground. A couple days later on Smackdown Live, A.J. Styles, Kevin Owens, and Chris Jericho fought in a triple threat match where the Phenomenal One would win the title and become a two-time United States Champion.

WWE 2K18 launches on PS4 and Xbox One on October 17. The Nintendo Switch version will release sometime in Fall this year. WWE fans willing to pay a little extra for this year's wrestling title may purchase the Cena (Nuff) Collector's Edition which includes the Deluxe Edition of the game, as well as some John Cena themed memorabilia.
