Userjoy Japan announced today a Nintendo Switch port for The Legend of Heroes Akatsuki no Kiseki. In the past, iOS and Android ports were also announced, and the Switch version will be the same as these mobile versions. All three versions are scheduled to launch in Summer 2019 in Japan. Meaning an actual release date should be coming very soon.

Akatsuki no Kiseki, currently available on PC in Japan, is a game part of Falcom's Kiseki/Trails series. Unlike the rest of the series, it's a free-to-play with microtransactions, featuring characters from the various Trails games, but with brand new story elements and developments. The game launched in 2016 in Japan, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Trails series.

A new visual and the game's logo for Switch were also published along with the announcement.

From June 14 to July 7, a festival to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Trails series was organized by Falcom and Dengeki PlayStation at the Tokyo Anime Center. The festival was crowned with an over 2 hours long stream with Falcom's president Toshihiro Kondo and Towa Herschel's seiyuu Ai Nonaka. You can read our full coverage of the stream here and here.

In the west, The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel III is being localized by NIS America and will be launching on September 27 on PS4.
