PC gamers feel they have been wronged yet again, and they won't go down without a fight. Microsoft has announced that Alan Wake, claiming that the PC will not work for the horror aspect of the game, will not be released for the PC and gamers have elected to fight yet again. An online petition has been started to voice the displeasure with the decision, and time will tell if it works. 13,000 online signatures have been collected so far, and more are expected in the coming days.
Question now is whether or not Microsoft is listening. In most cases online petitions are largely ignored. Remains to be seen if Microsoft will give a better reason for excluding the PC other than it can only be appreciated in front of a TV. DualShockers would be very surprised if Microsoft changes their mind on this decision, but stranger things have happened, so we will wait and see if PC gamers are heard.
