Warner Bros. Montreal and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have released some pretty telling screens from Batman: Arkham Origins one day ahead of the start of what is known as the European E3, Gamescom. The screens reveal that the player may spend some time in the iconic Batcave, and will finally be able to communicate with Alfred face-to-face (Batman’s interaction with Alfred was limited to radio communication in 2011’s Arkham City, though the thought of Alfred sitting at the bat-computer in a robe and sipping tea produced a funny mental image). Also shown in the screens is a higher-resolution image of Mad Hatter from the OXM scan.
Batman: Arkham Origins is being developed by Warner Bros. Montreal and will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC on October 25th, 2013. A Vita/3DS version of the game, Batman: Arkham Origins – Blackgate, is also in development by Armature Studio and will be released on the same day.
