Survival horror game, Alien Breed, is set to release on the PlayStation Store on February 12th for $9.99 on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The game will 20% off for PlayStation Plus members. The PS3 and PS Vita version of the game looks to add new features and allow players to team up across platforms via cross-platform play.

The game features both online and ad-hoc co-0p multiplayer on the PS Vita with support for online and local co-op on the PlayStation 3. Cross-Platform Continuation Play gives players a chance to carry their saves over between platforms to continue playing on the go.

This version features a full HD graphics overhaul and gives players the option to toggle between the original graphics and new ones. Players will also be able to toggle on a map screen and shop to remedy some issues with the game while ensuring the game was still balanced for these tweaks.

Fans of the original Alien Breed will remember that there were only directional buttons when it was first released. The remake features dual stick control for running and gunning in different directions.

Gamers that have not tried the game will want to consider picking it up for a chance to experience this game anywhere. Don’t forget to check out the video below that shows off the game before its February 12th release.
