What's The Difference Between Basic and Prestige Classes?
In Pathfinder: Wrath of The Righteous, you might have noticed that there are two different class types in the game. The first being a Basic class and the second is a Prestige class, but what's the difference?
Simply put, a Prestige class is a more advanced class that requires a character to reach level 5 before they can be selected. These prestige classes also have pre-existing prerequisites, meaning the player doesn't need to put any points into them to unlock certain things.
Whereas a Basic class comes with no prerequisites and players must put points into the character to level them up. Prestige classes can still be levelled up, but already have a solid foundation for the player when unlocked.
