Hourglass
Doha, Qatar
Your main goal is to take the control of convoy on the map, but you are going to deal with sight-blocking sandstorms in the middle of your deadly fight over the city.
Hourglass was one of the maps shown during the gameplay trailer of Battlefield 2042. You can reach the rooftops of skyscrapers or remain on the ground in the collapsed city of Doha.
Discarded
Alang, India
Storms won't leave you alone. On the west coast of India, your will be facing enemy troops in a fight over a strategic point in Asia.
The stranded ships would be a great opportunity for enemy members to take cover and ambush. Keep your squad focused, and don't let the storm blow you away.
Manifest
Brani Island, Singapore
This is probably going to be the hardest-to-master map in the whole game. You will step into a maze-like cargo trade port in Singapore in a fight that could be interrupted by massive tornados at any time.
Brani Island is another battle that will take place at night, which means your squad should be well aware of every corner on the map.
Kaleidoscope
Songdo, South Korea
This is heaven for those who love fighting downtown among all the giant skyscrapers. In Songdo, you will be able to zipline between towers and make them fall if you want it that way.
Songdo was one of the maps that the reveal trailer of Battlefield 2042 had a special focus on. So, you should expect something really big from this map.
Orbital
Kourou, French Guiana
A giant rocket could be launched at any time. It's a fight in the surroundings of a military site with special rocket launchers.
While interrupting rocket launchers is important, you might get stuck in storms before you finish your objective.
Breakaway
Queen Maud Land, Antarctica
You can't be safe in this war even in Antarctica. The oil extraction site in the most southern continent of the world is now a war house.
Take advantage of the oil containers to destroy enemies, but be aware of how this could end up in your own failure.
Renewal
Eastern Desert, Egypt
It's a war on a borderline that separates hell from heaven. One side of the wall is the dry deserts of Africa, the other side is the man-made agriculture heaven of the rich.
Taking the control of the wall's gate will be a decisive objective for either side.
