DC fans can never have enough Batman in their lives, which makes 2021 and 2022 an exciting time to be a follower of the Caped Crusader.

Not only are there an abundance of new comics on the way, as well as the premiere of the animated adaptation The Long Halloween, but there are currently five live-action Batmen present in the DCEU.

From the small screen’s Titans to Matt Reeves’ 2022 blockbuster The Batman, there are currently enough Batman variants to rival Marvel’s Loki.

Warren Christie – Batwoman

In Episode 15 of The CW’s Batwoman, which aired on June 6, Christie appeared as Bruce Wayne, which is the second appearance for the actor within the Arrowverse, after playing Carter Bowen in Arrow.

In the Batwoman episode, Luke Fox daydreams about his father Lucius only to be met by Christie’s Bruce Wayne, who encourages the character to keep fighting after a shooting.

Batwoman has already been green lit for a third season, which could present another Bruce Wayne cameo.

The CW

Iain Glen – Titans

The Game of Thrones actor was cast to play Bruce Wayne back in 2019, and will return for the show’s third season in August.

Glen appeared as Bruce Wayne in the Season 1 finale of Titans, after Brenton Thwaites’ Dick Grayson returned to Gotham City.

Ben Affleck – The Flash

Affleck may not be getting his own Batman film just now, but he will be a prominent character in the upcoming The Flash feature.

Affleck will join Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen in the first independent film about the fastest man alive, continuing Zack Snyder’s casting.

Michael Keaton – The Flash

A second Batman variant will also be appearing in The Flash, played by the first silver screen Dark Knight Michael Keaton.

Keaton will reportedly play an older version of his character, 30 years in the future, and follow the Flashpoint narrative where Allen travels back in time to save his mother but accidentally creates an alternate universe.

The Flash is scheduled to release on November 4, 2022.

Robert Pattinson – The Batman

Pattinson’s Batman will be the start of a bold, new vision for Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves’ feature.

Bruce Wayne will be younger, darker and much more vengeful in this chapter, set on Earth-2 – a separate universe from past versions.

The Batman is scheduled to release on March 4, 2022.
