If for any reason you couldn't watch the State of Play showcase for June 2022 online, we have gathered all the games that were premiered during the event here. So, rest assured that you are not going to miss anything.

The anticipation is finally over and Sony's new State of Play showcase is eventually live! Prior to the beginning of the show, fans had high hopes for today's showcase, but I'm not going to reveal yet whether the expectations turned into reality or not. Let's just keep you hyped for this list!

Before the State of Play, Sony officially revealed that they would focus on PSVR 2 games as well as some of the third-party titles. Also, the Japanese publisher shared a brief teaser from Horizon Call of the Mountain a few days before State of Play, just to confirm that fans would have a better look at the next big project from Guerrilla Games and Firesprite.

Well, it's finally time to go through all the showcased games at State of Play. I hope you find all your favorite games here, though it sounds almost impossible.

All the Games Showcased at State of Play June 2022

Resident Evil 4 Remake

Capcom officially revealed Resident Evil 4 Remake during the State of Play showcase with an incredible trailer. The game is going to be launched on March 24, 2023. Thus far, we know it's only coming to PS5 and PSVR 2. The VR content might be different from the main game.

Resident Evil 8 VR Edition

Aside from Resident Evil 4 Remake, Capcom is also delivering the highly popular sequel to Resident Evil 7 to PSVR 2. No release date revealed for this one.

The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners Chapter 2: Retribution

A sequel to the critically acclaimed VR title from The Walking Dead universe is on the way to come to PSVR 2 in 2022. The game will feature new gameplay elements and more explorations.

No Man's Sky VR Edition

Although it's already available on VR platforms it will be heading to PSVR 2 as well.

Horizon Call of the Mountain

We were already waiting for this. Find out why the machines attacked humans in this brand-new adventure in the Horizon universe. Horizon Call of the Mountain will be available on PSVR 2 exclusively.

Also, Horizon Forbidden West received a new major update right now, adding the New Game Plus feature as well as Ultra difficulty level, and more.

Spider-Man Remastered Coming to PC

YES! Spider-Man Remastered Edtion is officially coming to Steam on August 12 this year! This is a huge announcement for PC fans. Unfortunately, Sony didn't reveal anything about Miles Morales yet.

Stary

A new gameplay trailer from Stray confirmed the game for a launch on July 19 for PS4 and PS5

The Callisto Protocol

Coming out on December 2, 2022, the new horror experience from the director of the Dead Space looks absolutely sick! The Callisto Protocol will be available on PS4 and PS5.

Rollerdrome

A new action-sports game coming to PS4 and PS5 on August 16, 2022. Combining skating with close-quarter melee combat. That seems fun!

Eternights

A brand new project from Kowloon Games coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2023. Featuring anime visuals and a solid Japanese RPG gameplay.

Street Fighter 6

Capcom officially revealed the next entry in the Street Fighter franchise with strong western-culture vibes. The game will feature a semi-open world hub where you can roam around and probably do some activities (it looks like The City in NBA 2K series).

We also saw some gameplay footage of the game, showing off significant visual improvements. Street Fighter 6 will be available in 2023 for PS4 and PS5.

Tunic

After its incredibly successful launch on PC and Xbox consoles, now Tunic is heading to PS4 and PS5 on September 27, 2022.

Season

A new gameplay trailer from this amazing indie title was revealed. Hopefully, it's not far away from its launch on PS4 and PS5. You can expect Season to launch in Fall 2022.

Final Fantasy XVI

This is a huge showcase so far! Capcom officially shared a new trailer from Final Fantasy XVI, revealing new footage from gameplay as well as shedding some light on the characters and the story of the game. It will be out in Summer 2023.

Keep in mind that State of Play is only the beginning of an exciting month for gamers. Up next, we will get to watch the reveal trailer for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 on June 8. After that, you can expect tons of surprising announcements at Summer Game Fest, which is set to go live on June 9.

Last but not least, you can expect a huge showcase from Microsoft and Bethesda on June 12, where we will get more information on Starfield and some of the other ongoing projects at Xbox Game Studios.
