Allods Online Gets an Update, Enhanced the New Player Experience

One of the best free-to-play MMOs I’ve played in recent memory – and which has been F2P from the start – is Allods Online, especially if you enjoy a WoW-like experience and a new fantasy world to explore. Well, that MMO is getting an update this month that will help out new players a lot. I have noticed, playing the game again a little bit recently, that the low-level experience is kind of slow, probably because enemy health is a bit higher than I would expect. Well, that will be taken care of as those stalwart enemies get castrated so you’ll be able to plow through them quicker.

There’s also a “survival of the fittest” dungeon called the Mausoleum of Sparks that players can participate in, in which hoards of enemies come at you until only one player out of your entire party remains. Now, there’s a novel idea.

There’s a lot more included in this patch, titled Undaunted, as well, and you can hit the jump to check out a trailer. The update is now live, so if you’ve played in the past or just now wanting to check it out, you can download, update or log-in now.
