If any game took 2020 by storm, it was Among Us. The way that game lets you hop in with some pals and engage in some good old-fashioned social deduction. As someone who's been playing board games like these for years, it's fun to see the genre finally making a real splash in the video game world. Plus, it fills that massive need people have for social interaction during the ongoing pandemic. Due to all of the success, the Among Us team announced a new map back at The Game Awards. Today, they've shared

Obviously, the big thing people want to know is when will the airship map actually go live. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like devs are ready to share that just yet. Instead, we're just left to speculate over how frustrating that moving platform is going to be.

I mean, just look at it. It may seem like a simple, little platform, but imagine how annoying this thing is going to be during gameplay. And I mean that with the highest compliment. Imagine you're rushing to take care of a job and that platform isn't where you need it to be. So, you're stuck waiting, potentially with the imposter creeping up on you. I'm not even playing and it's already maddening in a way that's going to be a ton of fun.

Hopefully, we don't have to wait much longer for the new map to come to Among Us. Of course, just because we're waiting doesn't mean we can't keep playing. The game is available now on Mobile, Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
