Among Us, the popular online multiplayer game is getting a manga adaptation, and here's everything you need to know about it.

Published by InnerSloth, Among Us is a famous Social Deduction game that flaunts a playerbase of millions. The cross-platform video game is available for Windows, Android, iOS, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Two years after its release, the game burst into popularity after several popular Twitch streamers started streaming the game online.

In the game, players perform different tasks on the spaceship, and one "Imposter" attempts to kill the Crew members while hiding their identity. After spotting a body in the ship, players can call an emergency meeting to find out who the imposter is. And in each session, players get a chance to vote for the player they think is the imposter.

Among Us is Getting a Manga Adaptation

Recently, Manga Mogura RE confirmed on Twitter that Among Us is getting a manga adaptation. According to the report, the manga will be published in the Bessatsu Corocoro issue on 4/2022, which is scheduled to release in February 2022. However, we have yet to receive an exact release date.

There's no news around the manga's author or the story either. So, we'll have to wait a little longer to get some information on the project. Also, it would be interesting to see which map from the game will be featured in the manga.

Fortunately, the fact that Among Us manga is now official, we should expect a Japanese studio picking the project for an anime adaptation as well. However, that will purely depend on the manga's performance after its release. Also, we don't know how many chapters the upcoming manga will contain.
