Amy Hennig’s Star Wars Game Will Be Co-Written By PS4 Uncharted Trailer Narrator Todd Stashwick

Former Uncharted Creative Director and Writer Amy Hennig just announced on Twitter that actor Todd Stashwick will co-write the Star Wars title by Visceral Games for which she will serve as Creative Director and Writer.

Thrilled to announce that my friend @ToddStashwick will be joining me as co-writer on the Star Wars project for @VisceralGames@EA !

@ToddStashwick is a huge gamer, knows Star Wars inside-out and sideways, and is a brilliant writer to boot. How lucky am I?

You probably know Stashwik’s voice, if anything because he narrated the teaser trailer of the upcoming Uncharted for PS4 (if you lived under a rock in the past six months, you can see it at the bottom of the post). His latest roles include Father Kieran in The Originals and Mr. Tate in Teen Wolf. You can read a full list and a bio here

Stashwick is also working as Co-Writer and Co-Executive Producer on SyFy’s Clandestine and as Co-Creator of the web comic Devil Inside along with Marvel and DC artist Dennis Calero. If you want a sneak peek on his writing skills, you can read it for free on Starshwick’s own homepage.

Update: Stashwik himself just commented on the new role:

I’m beyond humbled and excited to announce I’m co-writing the @EA Star Wars project video game with @amy_hennig

I’ve partnered with someone who’s love of Star Wars rivals mine. It shaped @amy_hennig & my youth. We’re thrilled to play in that galaxy

Update 2: Nathan Drake’s voice, Nolan North, just tweeted something that could easily be interpreted as a pitch to take part in the game, or maybe even a tease.

@amy_hennig @ToddStashwick FYI…as I told JJ Abrams, “I am no stranger to a blaster and a light saber.” Just saying! #shameless
