Oh ah ah AH! AH! Ooh oh ah ah ah ah! AH! AH! AHHHH! AHHHHHH!

Yeah, okay.

You're probably aware of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, a game developed by Panache Digital Games, the studio founded by the former creative director of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed. Players take on the role of a prehistoric ape from a third-person perspective and has players attempting to survive predators and the world around them.

The PC version of Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey landed exclusively at the Epic Games Store on August 27 and will remain that way for the first year of its release. Since then, the console version of the title was only slated to be arriving somewhere before 2019 is at an end. With the latest console trailer, we're finally given an exact date.

The trailer shows off a good deal of gameplay with plenty of primal combat being shown off. We also get to see some of the evolution elements taking place as the apes learn new skills to overcome harsher survival elements. Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will be landing on PS4 and Xbox One this year on December 6.
