Bandai Namco Teases Android 17 as Final DLC Character for Dragon Ball FighterZ
Android 17 will become the final DLC character for Dragon Ball FighterZ as teased by a tweet from Bandai Namco and scans of the latest issue of V-Jump.
Bandai Namco has tweeted out a tease of Android 17 leaving behind a note for Goten and Trunks to “take care of the animals” while he is away with #MVP.
This is a reference to his status in the Universe Survival Arc of Dragon Ball Super, as well as his teased status as a playable fighter in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Android 17 will join his sister Android 18 as the 32nd playable character. This comes along the heels of a new issue of V-Jump showcasing Android 17 and a new stage. He will presumably arrive alongside previously announced character Cooler on September 27, 2018 and be similarly priced at $4.99 individually or included in the FighterZ Pass for $34.99.
Base Goku and Base Vegeta recently were added to the roster, with Cooler announced at the end of the Dragon Ball FighterZ EVO tournament. The Nintendo Switch version of the game is set to release on September 28, 2018, and you can read our review of the base game here.
