The summer is here, both in the real world, and in the island paradise of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Unfortunately, while there haven't been any big, new exciting events announced for a while, there is still going to be plenty for players to get involved in throughout June.
This includes a major returning event plus the return of a fan favourite competition.
So, with that in mind, here are all of the June events in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Wedding Season
The major thread running throughout June this year is Wedding Season.
Last years summer special returns again in 2021 and will once again be focused on the two loveable alpacas - Reece and Cyrus.
During Wedding Season, players will be invited to visit Harv's island (via Dodo Airlines).
From there, you'll help the pair create scenes from their wedding and in exchange, will be rewarded with special furniture items.
It's unclear if new rewards will be available, but Nintendo has confirmed "wedding season-themed furniture and fashion items will be available in Nook Shopping and Able Sisters during the entire month."
Bug-Off
June sees the return of Animal Crossing: New Horizons' Bug-Off.
The bug catching competition returns for the summer months and pits players head to head with their villagers to get the highest scores.
Players will be able to catch bugs within a set time limit, earning points for every bug they catch. Following the conclusion of the timer, they can exchange those points for prizes.
Other Animal Crossing June Events
Last year, June was dominated by Wedding Season and that looks to be the same.
So far, Nintendo hasn't confirmed any other events for the coming month.
