Where To Get Carrots

Where to get Carrots in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Carrots can be grown from Carrot Starts, which can be purchased directly from Leif --granted he is available on your island-- or from his vendor stall on Harv's Island. If you plan on getting Carrot Starts from Leif’s vendor stall, keep in mind that his stock changes every Monday. If they are not available the one week, try again the following week. Carrot Starts can be purchased individually for 280 Bells, or in a bulk of five for 1,400 Bells.

Alternatively, you can come across carrots when sailing to islands with Kapp’n – although an element of luck is involved here. In the event that you do find carrots on your various journeys, you can simply harvest them, or use your shovel to dig them up in order to plant them on your island.

How to Grow Carrots

How to Grow Carrots in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Growing carrots in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is quite similar to the process of growing pumpkins. First, start by digging a hole, select the seeds you want to plant --in this case that will be Carrot Starts-- and then select plant one while you are within an available space in your farmland. The next step is to ensure you water your carrots daily for 4 days using the watering can. Sprinkling them with water daily will produce even more carrots, which is great news if you're looking to sell them. The last step would be to harvest your carrots to either sell for Bells or to make tasty recipes.
