Animal Crossing: New Horizons Valentine’s Day Cards Are the Perfect Way to Tell Someone How You Really Feel

If you want to tell someone you love them or have a high Bells debt, these Animal Crossing: New Horizons Valentine's cards are for you.

With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, love is in the air. Well, by “love” that I guess means if you’re into Animal Crossing, as we’re also now just over a month away from the long-awaited release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. If you happen to be celebrating the most romantic holiday of the year with a fan of the series (or you just need a last-minute Valentine’s Day card), Nintendo has you covered with an official set of Animal Crossing-themed cards that you can print from right at home.

Nintendo has shared a set of cute Valentine’s Day cards featuring various familiar faces from the Animal Crossing series ahead of the release of New Horizons in March, including Isabelle, Tom Nook and his demon spawn his adorable kids, several Villagers, and more. Overall there are six card designs that you can get from Nintendo’s website, where you can simply download, print, and cut them out at home. Each of the cards comes with their own cutesy Animal Crossing-themed message, with my personal favorite being Tom Nook’s “You make me feel like a million Bells.” If it weren’t for him being a relentless loan shark, my heart would melt at its wholesomeness.

In terms of recent news around Animal Crossing: New Horizons, most recently Nintendo shared a new trailer giving us a bit more gameplay from the highly-anticipated Switch title, along with an incredibly beautiful, island-themed Nintendo Switch console that will be coming alongside the game’s release next month (and making me tempted to buy a third Switch). It was also recently revealed that players may have their New Horizons island locked to the system they play on, making it impossible for players to transfer their saves to another Switch system. However, Nintendo has clarified that it may introduce a system for players to back up their save data for the game in the event that their Switch is lost, stolen, or damaged, though it most likely will be limited to those that subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020, and you can pre-order the game right now over on Amazon.
