If you're like me, and you have an adoration for coffee, you're probably wondering where Brewster is in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Well, someone has discovered some indication that perhaps the coffee brewing pigeon will be arriving through a later content update.Throughout Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the villagers tend to mutter about future events before they've actually occurred on the island. Clues as to what players who are paying attention can expect. GamesRadar+ shows an example of this as an art wing for the museum seems to have been teased already. The new tease that a player has discovered comes from the lips of Clay. Upon Twitter user @sliceofcy speaking to them, Clay says, "I'm still wide awake! I guess Brewster was right! 17 cups of coffee is 3 too many!".

At current, Brewster isn't on the island and this is the first we've seen of him mentioned in the game. To add to that, his name is highlighted which throughout the game means it's a character that the player can interact with. Despite not being mentioned outside of this conversation, data miners have also reportedly discovered a line of code back before the game launched that referred to "MuseumCafe".

Brewster used to run The Roost in the basement of the museum in Wild World, with later games finding him relocate to his own building. If the data mining is to be believed, it looks like he'll be returning to his roots, but where exactly in the museum is unclear...unless it's at the top of those random stairs that seem strangely placed.

The fact I'm assuming The Roost and an art wing in the museum will be content updates is because the players who time-travel haven't come across either two yet. So I suppose we'll have to wait until Nintendo pushes an update before we can go and chug back espresso's late at night.
