Bringing video games and wrestling together always gets me excited. It seems Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be the next title to do this, allowing you to build a wrestling ring on your island (or boxing ring, I guess).

In a new trailer, Animal Crossing: New Horizons urges players to "create your own paradise." The video focuses on the building aspects, showcasing the mayor's ability to put that hard hat on and start customizing their island in a variety of ways. It then shows just how different each mayor's vision can be. From "horror" to "adventure" themed islands, the options seem rather vast.

Also, there is a mayor wearing a luchador outfit making their way to the squared circle. It was jarring, but it got me pretty excited. I can finally create the wrestling dreamscape I have always imagined. I can't wait to give Tom Nook the Deep Six (obviously, you can't do Baron Corbin's signature move in Animal Crossing, but it would be rad).

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the first big 2020 title for Nintendo. You'll begin your journey on a deserted island of your choosing; there are different map layouts that begin at a certain season. Essentially, this place is your new home, and you'll have to give a raccoon and other shops some bells to make the island nicer. You will also have the ability to visit other player's islands using Nintendo's online feature.

Animal Crossing launches for the Nintendo Switch on March 20 and can be pre-ordered right now. If cutesy island customization isn't your bag, maybe murdering demons on Earth to the metal tunes of Mick Gordon is more up your alley. Doom Eternal also launches on March 20 for Xbox One, PS4, Google Stadia, and PC; a Switch version will be available at a later date.
