Anime Con NYC 2021 is back with an in-person event this year. The convention is being held this weekend from November 19-21 at the Javits Center.

The Anime NYC has been the premiere anime convention of New York City since 2017. After the pandemic, the show is making a comeback with top talent from both the English and Japanese sides of anime – voice actors, directors, composers, and others.

Anime NYC 2021 Guests

A number of guests will be present at the convention which includes famous anime creators like Shinji Aramaki, Arthell Isom; music composers like Yuki Hayashi, voice actors like Amber Lee Connors, and several other renowned YouTubers and guests.

Anime NYC Schedule

This year's anime convention at New York is jam-packed with events from different anime studios such as Kodansha, Crunchyroll, and special events held by popular anime such as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Anime Con NYC 2021 Hours

Given below are the active hours when the convention would be open for visitors on different days:

Friday, November 19:

  • 10 AM – Building and Registration Open
  • 1 PM to 7 PM – Exhibit Hall and Artist Alley
  • 1 PM to 10 PM – Panels and Events

Saturday, November 20:

  • 8 AM – Building and Registration Open
  • 10 AM to 7 PM – Exhibit Hall and Artist Alley
  • 10 AM to 10 PM – Panels and Events

Sunday, November 21:

  • 8 AM – Building and Registration Open
  • 10 AM to 5 PM – Exhibit Hall and Artist Alley

What To Expect?

The Anime NYC 2021 will be hosting industry panels from Crunchyroll, Yen Press, and GKIDS that would include gems like Black Trailblazers in Anime, Anime Goes to Hollywood, and Japanese Tea 101.

There will be quite a few anime premieres that you can look forward to - Love of Kill, ODDTAXI (dub), In the Land of Leadale, and Orient, etc.

Another thing enthusiasts can look forward to is The My Hero Academia Official Concert that will feature live musicians performing all-new tracks and composer Yuki Hayashi is coming all the way from Japan for this event.

Crunchyroll is holding a special event to celebrate the 1000th episode of One Piece by treating guests to a special screening of episodes 998, 999, and 1000, along with fun things like fan videos, a trivia contest, and more! Folks who are attending the event can enjoy Japanese food, gaming, and art too at the Anime NYC 2021 event.
