Another Chance for LostWinds

This Monday on October 19th, Frontier Developments will be releasing LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias in North America. The game will be 1000 Wii points ($10) and will be downloadable through Nintendo’s WiiWare service.

When the WiiWare service launched back in May of 2008, one of the titles I really thought about downloading was the first LostWinds. The WiiWare launch was very lackluster, but this game caught my eye and the eyes of others as it was gaining a lot of popularity. Unfortunately, I held on to my 1000 Wii points for a few weeks, and eventually spent my points on the Dr. Mario. All of you, like me, can now play this great game, which apparently had great support to warrant a sequel. LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias is already out in the UK, and it is already getting great reviews. So, instead of downloading another Mario title (yeah I’m a hypocrite) with confidence, let’s spend some points on the hard-working companies who are trying to make a name for themselves.
