Another PlayStation Social Environment Closing as Sony Prepares Shutdown of Toro’s Friend Network

on October 8, 2014 4:01 AM

Looks like PlayStation Home isn’t the only PlayStation social environment being shut down. Sony Computer Entertainment Japan and Asia announced that the Japanese version of the little social network Toro’s Friend Network on PS Vita is going to close its doors for good on March 31st.

At the moment there’s no corresponding announcement for the western versions, but like with PlayStation Home, it’s unlikely that they’lln survive much longer.

The sale of currency for Toro’s Friend Network is going to be suspended in December, and there will be a promotion to let users grab the last items before the light turn out.
