Anthem’s CES Trailer Shows Off 4K Visuals and New Enemy Types
The latest video for BioWare's Anthem shows off the beauty of the game's PC visuals.
The first bits of news from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 kicked off late last night when hardware manufacturer Nvidia held a press event to talk more about its GeForce RTX 2080. In the process, a new trailer for EA and BioWare’s upcoming release, Anthem, was also revealed and it might feature the most gorgeous look at the game we’ve seen so far.
The trailer, which lasts a little more than 90 seconds, puts an emphasis on the visuals of Anthem with everything that we see in this new footage being shown at 4K. As such, much of what we see in this trailer focuses on the game’s environments and showing off the power that Nvidia’s tech can give to players who opt to play on PC. There’s also quite a bit of flying around the world shown as well, which continues to look as cool as it always does.
In addition to environments and flying, we do also get to see a bit of new combat action from the game as well. While it might not be as explosive past some past gameplay sequences we’ve seen for Anthem, we do however get some brief looks at new enemy types and a new Javelin skin. It definitely looks like PC is the place you’ll want to play Anthem, if you have that option.
Anthem is slated to receive a new demo available at first to VIP members and later to the general public starting later this month. If you’d like to learn how to sign-up for the beta, you can read our guide to learn more. In the meantime, you can also check out today’s new trailer which is attached below.
Anthem is due out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC next month on February 22.
