Prior to today’s Anthem panel at PAX West, BioWare revealed to members of the press when players can finally expect to play the much-anticipated demo.

BioWare told us that the demo will begin on February 1 next year, three weeks before the full release of the game. They also made sure to make clear that this will indeed be a complete demo for the game, and not merely a test beta or alpha. Those online testing features will take place between now and sometime before the release of the demo.

Additionally, this demo will release simultaneously on all of the game’s platforms — PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you want to get in on the demo for yourself, BioWare told us that those who pre-order Anthem along with those who are subscribed to EA Access and Origin Access Premier will be able to play come February 1.

This isn’t all of the news Anthem received today, either, as BioWare also released a new trailer and screenshots that further showcase the story and world. You can check these out over here if you’re interested.

Anthem is scheduled to launch on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on February 22, 2019.
