New Trailer for Anthem to Debut at The Game Awards

BioWare and EA's upcoming third-person action RPG Anthem is slated to have a new trailer revealed at next week's The Game Awards.

More information about what will be shown during The Game Awards 2018 next week continues to be revealed, this time around in regards to one of the biggest games releasing in the first portion of 2019.

Geoff Keighley recently announced that during next week’s show, a new trailer for Anthem, EA and BioWare’s shared-world shooter, will debut during The Game Awards. BioWare’s GM Casey Hudson will also be present at the award show and will seemingly intro the new trailer before it premieres.

With Anthem set to release in early 2019, this trailer at The Game Awards will likely be the first of many new looks we will get at the game in the coming months. In fact, later today, BioWare will be livestreaming new gameplay footage from Anthem that will primarily showcase Fort Tarsis, one of the game’s main locations. The stream will be led by lead producer Michael Gamble as he talks viewers through many of Anthem’s different systems and mechanics.

Anthem is due out early next year on February 22 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you’d like to pre-order the game ahead of its release, you can reserve a copy over on Amazon.

As for The Game Awards, the show will kick off at 8:30 PM EST on Thursday, December 6.
