Publisher Versus Evil, in partnership with developer Tim Conkling, have announced that their turn-based strategy game Antihero is free this weekend on Steam. Players can hop online in either a casual head-to-head match or, if they're feeling confident, go up against other players in ranked PvP multiplayer. Of course, if you'd rather enjoy the story-driven campaign, you can delve into that also.

Antihero is a strategic board game-style experience taking place in a gas-lit Victorian world, where you take on the role of a Master Thief. Players will need to use stealth, cunning, and even assassination to create the strongest Thieves’ Guild in the city.

Antihero includes two online game modes - Casual Matches, where you can take the time to chill a little and plan your next move, whereas in the ‘Live Match' mode, you don't get the luxury to relax! It's all go as you face their opponents in real-time.

The Antihero Free Weekend on Steam will run from Thursday, September 20th at 10 am PT until Sunday, September 23rd at 1 pm. Below you will find some screenshots of Antihero, for anyone curious about the game. If you want to try it out yourself, all you have to do is head over to Steam and download the game while it is available in the Free Weekend.
