Everyone’s favorite ape-chaos power fantasy, Ape Out, has been out on the Switch for over a year, but now a limited run collector’s edition is up for preorder.

If there’s one thing that most gamers can agree on, it’s that there’s nothing quite like owning a steelbook case for a game that you love.

Luckily, a steel book edition of Ape Out is on the way. Here’s where to secure your Ape Out Switch preorder.

Steelbook Ape Out Switch Preorder

The steelbook edition of the game is being made by a website called Special Reserve Games. Special Reserve Games specializes in making collections editions for smaller, independent game developers. You can find the preorder for the Ape Out steelbook edition right here.

What’s Included?

The edition of the game up for preorder comes with a physical Switch cartridge of the game, the collectible steelbook, a Special Reserve Games box, a reversible artwork jacket for the case itself, and a 32-page instructional book about the game. The whole bundle costs $44.99 US plus shipping.

Preorder Date and Availability

The preorder for the steelbook edition of Ape Out goes live on Tuesday, March 16. There is going to be limited availability for the preorder so if you want it, make sure you snag it. Special Reserve Games is only selling 3,000 copies of the steelbook and hasn’t said anything about another run of collectibles.

Ape Out Review

You can find DualShockers‘ review of Ape Out right here. In his glowing 8 out of 10 review, Ben Bayliss wrote, “if you want to be a banana munching gorilla on a rampage, then Ape Out is right up your alley.”

For any and all Ape Out and Devolver Digital coverage, make sure to stick right here with DualShockers.
