Respawn Entertainment has just announced a brand new Collection Event will be coming to their popular Battle Royale title, Apex Legends. The event will kick off with plenty of new rewards and skins for players to get their hands on, as well as a brand new Heirloom for Revenant.

Apex Legends Collection Event: Genesis

The next Collection Event for Apex Legends will be called Genesis, it will kick off on June 29th and feature the return of some fan-favorite maps, new skins, and plenty more.

The original Kings Canyon and World's Edge maps will return, taking over the normal Trios and Duos queues in 1 hour rotations. The fun doesn't stop there though, as Skull Town will be coming to Arenas mode. This is something fans have been begging for since Arenas was first introduced.

Skull Town will be added into the Arenas rotation in one hour increments during the upcoming Collection Event.

There's also plenty of rewards and new skins up for grabs in the Genesis Collection Event.

Apex Legends Collection Event: Rewards & Skins

As of writing, Respawn Entertainment has revealed 4 of the upcoming skins that will be arriving in the Collection Event. Check out the video below, courtesy of Twitter account

Players will be able to earn a total of 1,600 points per day, with the challenges refreshing each day. According to the official website, the Genesis event will introduce 24 limited-time cosmetics. All of these cosmetics will be available through direct purchase or in Event Packs during Genesis' runtime.

Revenant's Heirloom

Revenant will get a brand new Heirloom when the Genesis Collection Event begins on June 29th. The Heirloom is called 'Dead Man's Curve' and is available by collecting all 24 event items, and will become available via Heirloom crafting AFTER the Genesis Event finishes.
