A new arenas map, exclusive cosmetics, rewards, and more are all set to arrive in the brand new Apex Legends event, Dark Depths.
With the event scheduled to last for three weeks, fans are eager to know if this will finally mark the end of the dry spell the game has experienced in recent weeks.
Season 11 promised to bring new limited-time modes, an evolving map, and plenty of new content for players to jump into. Unfortunately, fans have received one limited-time mode since Season 11 started, and it most certainly wasn't a new one.
Nevertheless, we're all excited to see what surprises the Dark Depths Event has in store for us. So, here's the official start time and release date for the upcoming Apex Legends event.

When Is The Apex Legends Dark Depths Event?
The Apex Legends Dark Depths Event will release on Tuesday, January 11th before coming to an end on Tuesday, February 1st. As for the official start time of the event, it is expected to launch at 10AM PT / 1PM ET / 6PM GMT, similar to previous events and updates.
This will likely be the final event of the season, as Season 12 is rumoured to be launching on or around Tuesday, February 8th. So, jump in and get your hands on the new themed cosmetics whilst you can.

What's Included In The Dark Depths Event?
According to the EA website, the Dark Depths Event will include a brand new Arenas Map, themed cosmetics, and new flash events with special rewards.
Unfortunately, no Town Takeover is scheduled for the event, but a new Arenas Map is on the way. The new map is called 'Habitat' and is part of the many islands in the New Antillia archipelago, which is also where Storm Point is located.
The island is home to the Leviathan and was reportedly inspired by how it would feel to fight in the breeding grounds of these gentle giants.
Alongside the new Arenas Map, players will find plenty of new cosmetics in the store and some special challenges to complete. Check out the EA website for the full details.
