Apex Legends Gaming Grandpa Kills It With the No-Scopes

Once known for his skills on the PUBG fields, GrndPaGaming shows us he has a lot more to show as he pulls off some awesome no-scope shots in Apex Legends

February 18, 2019

There are so many aspects about the gaming community that makes me, quite frankly, pissed off on a daily basis but then something comes along like a beam of warm sunshine that snaps me right out of that negativity – today so happened to be one of them. Whoever said that there is an age limit to playing games have never met 66-year-old GrndPaGaming, as he is known on Twitch.

In a recent clip, we see what this Grandpa can do as he played Apex LegendsWith all his team down, it was up to gramps to take on the responsibility of another impending team that was starting to rush in and boy, did he take it on! We witness him assessing the situation first as his own teammates crawled for safety after being downed and then, armed with his trusty sniper, Grandpa popped some skulls with a no-scope while making the statement “Hey, that was a no-scope with a triple take!”.

If you haven’t heard of GrndPaGaming before, you’re in for a treat. Even though he has a disability in his right hand due to getting shot while in the service and having no sensation in three fingers, he can still aim and shoot much better than most people. He received Twitch fame when Shroud and Dr. Disrespect retweeted his video that showed Grandpa slaying at PUBG, which then shot his viewership up to 58,000 in the space of a week.

Now being retired, he can stream as long as he wants on games like PUBG, League of Legends, Hearthstone, Diablo 3, Overwatch, ArcheAge, The Division, Sniper Elite, Battlefield and now Apex Legends. Life hasn’t always been plain sailing for GrndGaming due to having to overcome prostate cancer and a disability which causes him great pain daily, but he says that gaming has helped his mind in a positive way and he’s also thankful that gaming has allowed him to keep in touch with the younger generation too – even though he kicks most of their asses.

You can check GrndPaGaming out over on Twitch where you can show him some support as he pops some heads.

Apex Legends is available for free on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
