Apex Legends Was Leaked Almost a Year Ago on Reddit

Someone over on Reddit noticed that Apex Legends was leaked almost a year ago and nobody seemed to care or believe it.

Apex Legends has come out of nowhere, almost literally, and has become a phenomenon. Not only has the game been able to capture the magic that the battle royale genre provides, but I also believe it is the best battle royale game to be released as of yet. The mixture of hero-based gameplay as well as the traditional elements you would see in this type of genre blends together to create a wonderful concoction of gameplay. Well, even though the game was stealth announced and released at the same time, would you believe me when I say that someone leaked Apex Legends almost an entire year ago and nobody seemed to notice?

Over on the Apex Legends subreddit, u/Fubbles22 noted that 11 months ago, another user with the user name u/hitconic posted a picture of an alleged map of a Battle Royale game being created by Respawn. You can see the post below.

11 months ago, this was leaked in r/titanfall. All he got was pessimistic comments. from r/apexlegends

The Respawn Community Manager chimed in down in the comment section. They stated that they actually remembered this post and was happy to see that people were just blowing it off. They also thought that they would be able to say they were right when the next year comes along.

As big as this game is now, I am surprised that nobody has caught this sooner. I mean the post has been up for 11 months. Plus, it is funny to see the actual map of the game get leaked and everyone in the comment section blew it off and called it fake.

Apex Legends is currently available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One for free.
