Apex Legends: Overtime Release Date
While this is not the first time we’ve seen Apex characters in comic form, this is the first officially printed comic run for the series. According to Dark Horse, the first issue in the run will be released June 2, 2021.
Apex Legends: Overtime Preorder
Preorders for the newly announced comic went live today. You can find the preorder link right here through Things From Another World. It’s worth noting that the preorder is limited to physical copies of the comic, but digital versions should be available through the Dark Horse app.
Apex Legends: Overtime Which Legends to Expect
The official abstract for the book is as follows:
The Legends from the battle royale video game find themselves pulled together to rescue the city from Mad Scientists, brutal assassins, and the sudden and sinister grip of the Syndicate, a corrupt cabal attempting to ”fix” arena outcomes in their favor. Will the Legends hold up to their celebrity status and be the heroes Solace needs?
Based on that description along side the Legends featured on the cover, it feels like we can start narrowing down who we’ll most likely see in action. Obviously Mirage, Crypto, and Revnant are featured characters on the cover, but from the description, it seems likely that we’ll see Caustic, Horizon, Bangalore, and Wraith to help combat the “mad scientists” and “brutal assassins.”
It would be nice to see everyone in the game, but that’s not likely to happen in the first issue. Who knows what future comics will hold?
