Apex Legends shocked the battle royale scene when it was announced and subsequently released in February 2019. As a free-to-play game, it quickly became insanely popular, amassing over 50 million players in just one month. While it is a digital, online-only game, some players still wanted a physical release. Today, Respawn Entertainment and EA confirmed that Apex Legends will be hitting store shelves on October 18 with some exclusive content.

Two different versions of Apex Legends will be available at retail: Apex Legends Lifeline Edition and Apex Legends Bloodhound Edition. As you can probably tell by those names, each package is centered around their titular character and even includes exclusive an exclusive badge and banner. Apex Legends Lifeline Edition contains a Legendary Guardian Angel skin for Lifeline, an Angel Struck Badge, a Winged Guardian Banner, 1,000 Apex Coins, and a Legendary Chooser of the Slain skin for Flatline.

Meanwhile, Apex Legends Bloodhound Edition also contains 1,000 Apex Coins as well as a Legendary Bloodhound skin called The Intimidator, a Tormentor Badge, a Feeling Impish Banner, and a Legendary Wrath Bringer skin for Prowler. Though the contents of each package are a bit different, they will both cost $19.99 and will be available for all platforms.

Apex Legends is currently free-to-play on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, though the Bloodhound Edition and Lifeline Edition are poised to hit store shelves on October 18. You can also enjoy the recently released Voidwalker animated short below to pass the time until then.
