Tom Henderson, the trustworthy insider who has reported on many gaming announcements correctly so far, recently shared a tweet revealing that the Apex Legends Season 15 will be available on November 1, and it is named Eclipse.As it turns out, we are less than two months away from the new season's launch, but the greater piece of information is the name of the season that fits into a leaked map from Apex Legends' data files. Previously, a brief video was shared on ApexUncovered sub-Reddit, revealing gameplay footage for an unfinished map in the game that is apparently called Divided Moon. So, Eclipse and Divided Moon do sound to be related words, though there is nothing official so far.
Of course, we won't get any official announcement about a new map in the next season until we are close enough to its release date, but we might get even more leaks in the near future about the season of Eclipse and the Divided Moon map.
With Season 14, Apex Legends players received access to Vantage as a new Recon legend. Her abilities to track down enemies, snipe them with an assisting scope, and relocate rapidly thanks to a cute companion have already put her among the top 5 legends in the game based on the pick rate data.
Unfortunately, the leak from Tom Henderson has no clue or hint at the next legend joining the game with Season 15. But surely, the players don't seem to like defense-focused legends such as Gibraltar or Newcastle as they both are at the bottom of the pick-rate table.
Aside from Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment is working on a load of other projects as well. Probably the most exciting one is a story-driven branch of Apex Legends that has not been officially announced so far, but multiple reliable sources have already confirmed its existence.
If the leak turns out to be true, the new season of Apex Legends will arrive a few days after the launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and only a few weeks before the possible release of Call of Duty Warzone 2, the new upgraded and enhanced Battle Royale branch of the franchise that is expected to be fully revealed next week.
